Labourer falls from products provider dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head injuries following he fell off a merchandise provider at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested.
According to Calangute law enforcement, the incident took spot at all around one.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a result of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. While the driver was negotiating a curve to go toward Nagoa, the carrier portion of the decide-up fell on the street and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting inside the carrier fell off, struggling really serious head accidents.
Chawan, a native of Karnataka, residing at Arradi in Candolim, was rushed to the district medical center at Mapusa, but breathed his past on the way.
