Labourer falls from products provider dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head accidents immediately after he fell off a products provider at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the automobile has been arrested.
According to Calangute law enforcement, the incident took area at all-around one.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a consequence of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. When the driver was negotiating a curve to go to Nagoa, the provider area of the select-up fell on the road and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting down inside the provider fell off, suffering really serious head injuries.
Chawan, a native of Karnataka, residing at Arradi in Candolim, was rushed to the district medical center at Mapusa, but breathed his past on the way.
The driver, a resident of Colvale, was arrested below Sections 279 and 304-A of the Indian Penal Code and later introduced on bail.
