Labourer falls from items carrier dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head injuries immediately after he fell off a products provider at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the auto has been arrested.
According to Calangute police, the incident took position at all over 1.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a consequence of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. Although the driver was negotiating a curve to go toward Nagoa, the carrier portion of the choose-up fell on the road and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting within the provider fell off, suffering really serious head accidents.
Chawan, a native of Karnataka, residing at Arradi in Candolim, was rushed to the district medical center at Mapusa, but breathed his very last on the way.
