Labourer falls from items carrier dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head accidents after he fell off a products provider at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested.
According to Calangute law enforcement, the incident took put at about 1.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a outcome of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. Though the driver was negotiating a curve to go in direction of Nagoa, the carrier section of the choose-up fell on the street and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting down inside the carrier fell off, suffering significant head accidents.
Chawan, a native of Karnataka, residing at Arradi in Candolim, was rushed to the district clinic at Mapusa, but breathed his last on the way.
