Labourer falls from items carrier dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head accidents following he fell off a goods carrier at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the car or truck has been arrested.
According to Calangute police, the incident took place at close to one.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a consequence of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. Whilst the driver was negotiating a curve to go in the direction of Nagoa, the carrier segment of the decide-up fell on the highway and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting down inside of the carrier fell off, suffering severe head accidents.
