Labourer falls from items provider dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head accidents soon after he fell off a merchandise provider at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested.
According to Calangute law enforcement, the incident took spot at close to one.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a end result of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. When the driver was negotiating a curve to go towards Nagoa, the carrier area of the pick-up fell on the street and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting within the provider fell off, struggling serious head accidents.
Chawan, a native of Karnataka, residing at Arradi in Candolim, was rushed to the district medical center at Mapusa, but breathed his past on the way.
The driver, a resident of Colvale, was arrested under Sections 279 and 304-A of the Indian Penal Code and later on produced on bail.
