Labourer falls from items provider dies
CALANGUTE: A labourer died of head injuries right after he fell off a items provider at Saligao on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of the auto has been arrested.
According to Calangute law enforcement, the incident took spot at around one.40pm at Grand Morod in Saligao, as a consequence of rash driving by Vinay Baburao Mandrekar. Even though the driver was negotiating a curve to go to Nagoa, the provider portion of the pick-up fell on the highway and a labourer, Laku Tolu Chawan, who was sitting down inside the provider fell off, struggling critical head accidents.
Chawan, a indigenous of Karnataka, residing at Arradi in Candolim, was rushed to the district clinic at Mapusa, but breathed his final on the way.
The driver, a resident of Colvale, was arrested underneath Sections 279 and 304-A of the Indian Penal Code and afterwards unveiled on bail.
