Ranbir Kapoor goes inexpensive for authenticity
Ranbir Kapoor ditched designer use for a substantially more affordable outfit for a poster picture of 'Besharam'.
The motive: He desired to remain accurate to his character, which is that of a tapori. In the poster, Ranbir is found sporting a yellow T-shirt and a multi-coloured jacket, which apparently price only `1,000. States director Abhinav Kashyap, "Ranbir's austerity and devotion moved me, because it is so compared with a star to do that. The director adds, "Ranbir is a delight to get the job done with. He has offered his all to the function - be it expanding hair on his upper body or altering the way he walks. He intently noticed the glimpse that Amitabh Bachchan sported in the 70s and has tried to duplicate it."
